Is there a place to get the Parents Against MS 26 yard signs and/or bumper stickers locally? I’m happy to pay for them but I fear that if I order from Cafe Press at this late date that they will not arrive in time. I’d love to have a sign in my yard. Please advise.

    Thanks!

I would also like to get a yard sign. I live in the Delta. Is it still possible at this late date.

    • Unfortunately, they’re too big to be mailed, so I really can’t get them to the Delta. CafePress may still be able to get them out if you order today, though. Sorry! I wish we could put them in every supporter’s yard in every corner of the state!

Do you have any suggestions for those of us who are out-of-state but want to help?

    • The most effective way to help us at this point is to make a contribution to support our final media push. At this point, every donation we receive is going directly into our radio campaign to reach voters across the state. We’re grateful for every dollar, and every dollar helps.

Other things you can do are to spread awareness by sharing our video or our articles on your Facebook page. Every vote counts, and you never know who you might reach!

What are the most current statistics about abortions due to danger/health of mother/daughter and rape/incest. What are the statistics for abortions due to social reasons?

    • I don’t know that there are any good statistics on the number of abortions performed for health reasons.

We know that there are about 65,000 ectopic pregnancies every year, but those don’t necessarily get reported in statistics. Doctors aren’t required to report them to the CDC. Likewise, I don’t think anyone keeps good statistics about pre-viability induction of labor for ruptured membranes or the like.

However, it ultimately doesn’t matter. Ending elective abortion doesn’t justify allowing women to die who could have been saved. You can’t look at the numbers and say that it’s worth trading these women’s lives for a greater number of unborn babies’ lives.

I can pick up my yard sign. Let me know if there are more. I live on a very busy street.

I would just like to thank everyone involved in the movement against Proposition 26. I’m a freshman in college and I’m writing a paper about this. I was appalled at how many people seemed to be in favor of Prop 26, and when I stumbled upon this site, I was relieved that people like you were out there advocating for the health of women. Thank you.
