Parents Against MS 26 is a grassroots organization founded in 2011 by Atlee Breland. Our mission is to raise awareness about the unintended consequences of Initiative 26 for women’s reproductive care in areas such as infertility treatment, birth control, and ectopic pregnancy treatment.
Parents Against MS 26 takes no position on elective abortion. Our belief is that there are many valid reasons for pro-life AND pro-choice Mississippians to vote No on 26, because the impact of 26 will stretch far beyond abortion.
Parents Against MS 26 is not affiliated with the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, or any other organization. We are an independent group, and all of our activities are funded solely by contributions from individuals.
We are registered as a political action committee with the Mississippi Secretary of State, and with the federal government as a Section 527 political organization, under the name Parents Against Personhood.
